For those who still have problem extracting, I thought I already made it quite clear in the "how to extract.txt"
Right click on the Emmerzail V031.exe and select extract files or extract here. (For extract files, choose where you want to extract it.)
Then wait 'til it's complete.

ReplyDeleteLooks like an interesting game, but I can't get V.31 to extract either. Followed the instructions, tried every other method I could think of. Tried Winrar, 7-zip. Reinstalled Winrar in case it was broken. Tried two different downloads. Every method produces the same error.

That's the specific error that winrar give when using extract files.
If I try to extract the individual files, the entire graphics folder crashes.
Hey man i've eagerly been awaiting this next release and am not disappointed i have yet to encounter any bugs really but i've only played through parts of sera's and alice's routes. Anyhow keep up the good work man, and thanks for the great game.
ReplyDeleteI cant extract the game, im following the instructions but it still says extraction failed, i cant see what am I doing wrong and is ridiculous how something as simple as extract some files becomes such an annoyance
ReplyDeleteFirst extract the exe and test to the same folder. Then right click on the exe and go to 7z if you have it(that's what I use) then click on "open archive" it should open a window with all the files shown, then highlight them all and click on extract at the top of the window and choose where to put the files.

DeleteI've personally tried both 7zip and winrar in various combinations to extract both files. Both return that the archive is corrupt.
I've used each different download link, on the off chance that my download was bad.
None of this has worked.
Alright after a good night sleep i decided to try again but using 7zip, and it actually worked, i dont know how but it worked
DeleteOne possibility to get around this would be to upload the extracted files to a site like github. It allows the download of the full files without extraction as well giving you a repository of previous versions.
