The north gate on Airionn (Alice route) shouldn't be there yet until
fight against Yuuki is finished. I forgot to set up variable for it. If
you have RPG Maker VX (The program, not the RTP) you can fix it by going
to those gate events (EV55 and EV56) and set the page 1 of those 2
events to have a condition of having variable AliceAirionnProgress = 59.
Also, the Yuuki secret scene shouldn't be there until you finished the Mayor scene.
Hi, I'm the one supplying the Dropbox and Googledrive links, I've put the changes Raindrops mentioned and have them here as a patch

Or

Just extract into the Emmerzail Folder and Overwrite
I will test it out and add it in future release.
ReplyDeleteHere's one in the Lynn rout I've been looking at your save looking at where one of the charcter can become a vampire but oddly enough after the Norsfortu fight there is this error every time I get into a fight when I'm trying to reach the carivan and the fight at the caravan.
ReplyDeleteScript 'carche' line 75 type error occured
cannot convert nil into String
I already said Lynn route would be buggy, right?
DeleteYep, and you probably knew about that one already. Still, it's better to err on the side of caution.
DeleteA small inconsistency in Lynne's good route:
* every choice made has been Good
* Chose to forgive Lord Henry instead of killing him
Scene: tent during recovery after Nosferatu battle.
Lynn constantly states the she killed Lord Henry. This is not the case on my save game. My Lynn chose to forgive him as I said. She still complains that she killed him (not "It's my fault he's dead!").
I love Lynn. She's become adorable now ^^
She felt responsible for her family's death.
DeleteYou should try the evil route. It's less buggy.
I suppose I should. I'm guessing it's not possible to remain human during the evil route.
DeleteIf Alice's route is as fleshed out as this, I'm going to playing this pretty solidly until an update =P
Bravo, Raindrops!
i added/completed my bug report with a few questions on LoK forum, if you like to read it there....
ReplyDeleteBW Mickele
just got done playing the new alice rout realy like it do thos gladitor fight again hobegobline sime buggy or more about luck then anything els
ReplyDeleteglade abit more about alice rout cam out my favour girle of the 3
To each their own, Anon. My favourite so far is Lynn.
Deleteyea hobgoblins are too broken at the moment with their stuning attack
ReplyDeleteEither I accidentally fast forwarded past some key text (which shouldn't happen, only the confirm button should do this, not any old button) and now I can't figure out how to get into Airionn I think it is. The gates are perma-locked and no amount of back and forth makes them open. Ogre beaten, no change.
ReplyDeleteKind of frustrating.
I be stupid. The patch fixes that.
DeleteIf I'm correctly understanding this, the Yuuki scene plays anyway. It's like you've won the tournament before having fought your first match. The patch does NOT fix this.
^ "Also, the Yuuki secret scene shouldn't be there until you finished the Mayor scene."
DeleteThe patch is not made by me so I don't really know. If you want, you can fix it by yourself with RPG Maker VX. Set the EV059 to have condition of Switch 129: "AirionnMayorSex'd" to be on so it won't play until you finished the Mayor scene which happens after tournament final.
The Hobgoblins in the arena fight are utterly impossible. There are five of them, and there seems to be at least a 50% chance (given chance of them doing a stun attack and chance of success) that any one will stun you for that turn. Which means there is something like a 3% chance of you getting an action that turn.
ReplyDeleteCouple with the way that each stun attack has its own time consuming animation (which counts as there are so many of the bloody things), the result is is just frustrating and tedious.
In the battle for Asynux, the Werewolf battle firstly frustrated me, then killed me.
ReplyDelete"Fine, I can handle one... Wait WTF? That's a rather convient miss... No matter. Fuck, two? Christ almighty, it missed the one in front but hit the one in the back? Shit, nearly dead. *uses high potion* *werewolf a summons another fucking werewolf, b hits for normal damage* It fucking missed AGAIN?! This is beyond mere coincidence, but at least I hit the two OTHER ones. Aw shit. *dies*"
That was my experience of the fight against a werewolf (when you're fighting your way through to Dreadfilt, the Stockholm Syndrome inducer) while trying to level the playing field with Giant Killing Slash.
Goliath is a cheese lord. He actually killed me once, by spamming "Strikes at Alice". Whatever that move is, it seems to have an idiotically high stun rate allowing him to spam you to death. Which he did. The fact that he's a giant shouldn't factor in like that, because if it did EVERYTHING he does should stun you. I felt bad for Kitty when he just flicked her away.
-Werewolf: You have to kill him fast before he summons more werewolves. But they have good evasion so it is hard indeed. Perhaps I need to reduce it a bit?
Delete-Goliath: I wrote the strategy to beat him in the walkthrough. Search through the post in this blog.
-Hobgoblin: I did balanced that already but the corrupt database forces me to use an outdated one.
Werewolf are actually pretty easy and i had almost all fights in the end three of them because i wasn't fast enough in killing them but it's actually pretty easy fight besides....i was kind of happy fighting 3 of them not only one i mean.... they give not bad rewards for killing them
DeleteHaving fun with Alice's path, but how do you get past the goblin forest? I'm a bit lost...
ReplyDeleteWell I hope sooner or later a virus cleansed and bug fixed new version will come out because not all of us can understand how to do the steps you and other people mentioned to fix up the game. Also even the bug fix patch has the virus in the game.exe file in case you don't know.
