Emmerzail V.0.90 Available for public!

Been a long time since last update. I did took my time with this update because of how long it took to find inspiration to decide on the direction for Alice Route, which hasn't saw any update for years. I had the main plot in my head but I just need more ideas to polish said plot. After procrastinating for sometime I finally got inspiration and immediately went to working. This update is mostly focused on Alice Good Route. At first I want to add Evil Route too but the amount of update is bigger than I had initially thought so I had to complete the good route first. The next update will be focused on Alice Evil Route. Enjoy.

Changelog:

- Continued Alice Route, branches off to good and evil route

- Updated Alice Good Route storyline

- Added 2 new h-Scenes before route branching

- Added 14 new h-scenes in Alice good route (3 of them Defeat Scenes)

- Added 1 new h-scene for Alice Evil route, more scenes coming on the next update

- Replaced old CG images for Alice route (5 scenes) and Lynn Route (7 scenes)

- Added 4 Optional Scenes for Sera Good Route and 2 Optional Scenes for Lynn Route before Orsia

Emmerzail V.0.90 Update Early Access on Patreon

Emmerzail V.0.90 is available as early access on my patreon. Will be available for public at 6th December 2021. 

Finally I get to update the long neglected Alice Route. This update is focused on Alice Good Route. The next update will be focused on Alice Evil Route.

World Building

 I can't stop adding some details to the world of Emmerzail for world building purposes. You may have seen some examples in the last year's update when I added some new locations for Lynn route in the old maps (new fort, a new noble's castle, new farm, new hunter's shack) and now I'm expanding it a bit further by making the existence of local nobles a bit more prominent through adding a bit dialogues mentioning them and adding different banners to different cities representing different nobles. Some of the nobles will appear in person too and have some roles (like the noble who blackmailed Lynn in the last update).


Adding some dialogues mentioning local lords, at least their existence is acknowledged. They won't really change the already established story

Added banners on some cities and other locations representing different nobles and organizations

Added new locations, not all of them are accessible, they're just there for world building

The expansion of aristocracy of the Emmerzail world has to do with my plans for future stories involving some of those nobles.

And don't worry. I also worked on the main content, currently focusing on Alice good route. Progress has been going well although I sometimes wanna add more h-scenes while creating maps so there will be more content than I initially planned. All in all, I hope to release the next update this month or next month.

Orc Camp Parallax Mapping

 


RPG Maker VX's tileset limit makes me unable to add more stuff so I had to resort to Parallax mapping and add certain tileset as character sprite (but this option is way too limited). At first I was reluctant to use Parallax mapping because then I had to add a whole lot of invisible events to serve as collision so players won't pass through walls and objects. This method increases lag though so now I've found another way to add collision, by using an unused tile on my tileset E (transparent tile but with collision), this way there will be no lag. From now on I will be using parallax mapping a lot more often.

So far I've drawn at least 90-ish art and had more clear direction for Alice route. Hope you can wait a bit more.

Alice Good Route New Outfit

Still alive! Currently working on Alice route!

Decided to give her a new mercenary-esque armor for her good route.

Currently still drawing more CGs while thinking of what scenario I want her to go through. She has been neglected for years so I'm glad I had a direction for her story now. Currently I drew about 80 CGs. (yeah I blame my tendency to add so many stuff)

I hope you can wait a little longer.

P.S: I haven't forgotten her Evil Route outfit, the naked armor one. I'll post that later.

Market Stalls

After years, I finally managed to add market stalls to these markets. Using character to substitute the limited tileset of RPG Maker VX (Yes, these market stalls are added as characters, not map tiles, in the engine.)

Updates about the game:

So far I'm still planning how Alice Route will continue so I fill the time by redrawing 40 old drawings for old scenes on Alice and Lynn Route.









Might release the next version with just some new art and improvements on the map with additional optional scenes here and there if I still take too long to decide things.

Been on artblock for some time. For now I've been redrawing some old scenes and thinking about how to proceed with Alice route. It's about time I update her route. Hopefully I will be able to get out of artblock with this Moo Alice. Will definitely add more Moo Alice scenes in the future.
