Alice in Asynux's fight against val'thrinn is completely smoky. It's bordering on shit.
How fun could you think of giving the spell of seduction to a boss that has two attacks that apply burning and a spell that kicks over 60% of the health bar in two hits?
I spend my time healing the poor 1600 life points that we have at level 20 by crossing my fingers that seduction does not work.
There I started a fight again, Val'thrinn seduced me to come in and I died without being able to do anything.
The big LoL in the matter is that we have a buff that is useless. Apart from this icon that appears, I have nothing. No extra hit points, no extra resistance, no extra attack power. I have equipment that supposedly protects against fire but actually ... no.
I have 40 potions, 35 high potions, 45 magic water ... and again that doesn't help much.
You take 900 damage, so I heal myself with a high potion. The next shot, he throws me a Hell grenade and I catch fire, so I have to heal myself with a potion. The next hit it takes 900 damage from me, so I take a high potion. The next shot, he seduces me. The next shot he attacks me, then he attacks me, then hell grenade. Then I regain control of Alice who has only 200 life points, I prepare a high potion but the next round starts with a double combo that kills me.
I thought WoW had become boring but now I think I know where you get your inspiration for the fights.
The buff is supposed to increase stats by 200% and guard against fire element but if that's not enough maybe I should remove the seduction from Val and nerf him.
This is not necessary, there is the amulet balance, which protects against the skill "seduction" In addition, it is possible to win in this duel without the amulet of balance. I have a save file before the battle with him, I won two out of three fights without the balance amulet.
True. Not to mention you sorta want to equip the red amulet to protect against fire attacks, tho I have to nerf him so this fight won't be so luck based.
I removed seduction and decreased his attack stat a bit while also reducing the frequency of his strongest attack, Destruction Slash. I don't want to make him too weak or he'll be undermined by the Goliath boss, which I recall is a pretty hard fight on its own right (in fact, the reason I made Val'Thrinn this strong is because I want him to surpass Goliath).
Most of the opponents in the game are easy and not only ordinary opponents, but also almost all bosses
With Val'Thrinn it is at least interesting to fight, a duel with him even makes you think which is better? cause even more damage to him or what better heal?
